ELECTRICAL & THERMAL INTEGRATION IN ONLY ONE MODULE

The photocells used —highly advanced (mass-produced for the space sector) and working at a solar concentration of 1,000 suns— achieve electrical efficiencies over 40%.

 

The multiple-junction photocells operate at 90ºC with a small reduction in efficiency, obtaining efficiencies that triple those of the conventional silicon solar panels. This makes possible the simultaneous generation of electrical and thermal energy. This way, the system can work as only electric, only thermal or by combining both.

 

Moreover, it makes possible the triple energy generation through the use of cold by absorption.

 

The system is prepared for the generation of heat for industrial use up to temperatures of 250ºC due to high concentration levels.

PASSIVE SOLAR TRACKING

The solar tracking system is based on the thermodynamic expansion of compressed gas in internal compartments of the piece.

 

Our solar tracking is autonomous, without requiring any type of external position control. This way, the solar focus which impacts on the photocell is continuously readjusted.

STABLE & CONTINUOUS ENERGY GENERATION AT MAXIMUM POWER

Stable and continuous energy generation at maximum power, in comparison with the generation of isolated power peaks from the existing photovoltaic systems. Generation costs lower than any existing technology, whether renewable or conventional.

ELECTRICAL EFFICIENCIES OVER 33% & COMBINED EFFICIENCIES OF 72%

Take all the advantages of CPV (Photovoltaic Concentration) while eliminating the need of expensive solar trackers. Including the generation of thermal energy, it doubles the efficiency of the CPV and triples the efficiency of the conventional silicon solar panels.

 

Electrical efficiencies greater than 33% are achieved —twice the efficiency in comparison to the conventional silicon solar panels, which in their highest quality and price versions reach a maximum of 21%). Combined efficiencies —electrical and thermal— of 72% are also reached with an electrical output of 40% and a thermal output of 60%.

COMPACT & LIGHT MODULAR SYSTEM

It is a very light system —50% less weight than the current electric and thermal generation systems which require differentiated installations— while occupying a much smaller area to generate the same Kw/h.

 

It can be installed on any type of surface (Hotels, hospitals, schools, swimming pools, residential complexes, single family homes, industrial units and large plants at ground level). Installation is quick and easy on any type of roof with a low visual impact. In addition, it is an autonomous system that does not require any maintenance.
