SOLARAYS<\/b>\u00a0has participated in\u00a0GENERA 2021<\/b><\/a>, the\u00a0International Energy and Environment Fair<\/b>. From November 16 to 18, it was present at\u00a0IFEMA<\/b><\/a>\u00a0(Madrid) with a stand where it showed the first smart system for generating electrical and thermal energy thanks to\u00a0“Made in Spain”<\/b>\u00a0passive solar tracking technology which have been developed together with the\u00a0Madrid Solar Energy Institute, the\u00a0Andalusian Plastics Technology Center\u00a0and Solar Added Value, Sindetec and Teknia<\/b>companies.<\/b><\/div>\n

In addition, SOLARAYS was one of the 12 projects chosen for the\u00a0Innovation Gallery<\/b>\u00a0of this year. The aim of this gallery was to show some of the main lines of research at the moment in the field of\u00a0renewable energies and energy efficiency<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0innovation’s\u00a0degree, the energy efficiency, its applicability and the strategic factor were the key factors for this selection.<\/p>\n

Moreover, this edition of the Innovation Gallery decided, for the first time, to distinguish with a\u00a0special mention<\/b>\u00a0those of the projects which obtained a higher evaluation by the judges. SOLARAYS was also among the chosen.<\/div>\n

GENERA 2021 gathered together almost 500 exhibitors where the great potential of renewable energies was shown.<\/p>\n

SOLARAYS’ stand<\/b>\u00a0was a success and was attended by a large influx of visitors who showed interest in seeing first-hand the SOLARAYS panels which incorporate multi-junction solar cells commonly used in satellites.<\/div>\n

In addition, this panel follows the\u00a0movement of the sun<\/b>\u00a0without the need for motors or electricity consumption, doubling the efficiency of conventional silicon panels while reaching values of over 33% of electrical efficiency and combined efficiencies \u2014electric and thermal\u2014 of 72%. This represents an increase of more than 30% in the energy generated by conventional silicon panels while allows saving up to 75% in the energy’s consumption bill.<\/p>\n

The new ultra-efficient system patented by SOLARAYS, which generates\u00a0electrical and thermal energy up to 90\u00ba<\/b>, can be used for\u00a0domestic, service sector and industrial uses<\/b>\u00a0(DHW, air conditioning of buildings and swimming pools, heat treatments in industries, etc.), while guaranteeing stable and continuous\u00a0energy\u00a0at maximum power against the isolated power peaks of the existing photovoltaic systems.<\/div>\n
